Hand collected seeds from my very own garden in Sherwood Park, Alberta. I'm just a hobby gardener with a habit of saving seeds in excess, so here we are!
Amaranthus was a new annual to me this year. I was gifted a little seeding and amazed at how big it grew! I believe this variety is called love lies bleeding. What a stunner this beauty was with its showy long tassel like blooms. Unfortunately I only have an earlier summer and late fall picture. I promise it will not disappoint, but give this beauty some space.
I'm a toss the seeds on the dirt and cross your fingers type of gardener so I'm not going to pretend I know the best way to grow them. It's probably best to search up growing instructions like cold stratification, spacing, depth and sunlight for zone 3 ;)
Happy gardening friends and don't forget to check out all my plant lover themed mugs!
